People with learning disabilities could play a key part within your organisation.  They could bring similar skills, experiences and qualities that you look for in all potential employees.  They could also bring  skills, experiences and qualities that are totally unique to them as individuals but that have considerable benefit to you too.

In our experience many employers are keen to make appropriate employment opportunities open to people with learning disabilties, but are not quite sure how to do it.  So, the clear, user-friendly, advice we give you under our sub-menu headings here will put you fully in the picture.

There will almost certainly be a specialist agency or support organisation/individual that can give you any practical guidance you need and, if needed, a job coach for the first few weeks of employment, all of this at no cost to you.
